Humboldt County Pets at the Pound

The following animals were recently picked up by animal control. More information on impounded dogs at the Sage Heights shelter is available by calling the shelter at (775) 623-6403 or Sheriff’s Dispatch at (775) 623-6429 and leaving a message, 24 hours a day. When calling, be prepared to provide the dog’s description, license number and general area in which it was lost.

If you are looking for a canine friend to adopt, please call us at (775)623-6403. Dogs are available for viewing every day from 8 am – 4 pm. Licensing is a city and county ordinance.

Please license your dog. This will help us get him back to you should he become lost.
